As a senior i spent 9 months developing a final collection. The inspiration of this collection came from a Tibetan Buddhist temple that I visited in New York last summer. All of my fabrics used are sustainable/organic silks and hemps. Even some of my silk is vegitarian, thus allowing for more generations of silk. All of the dye work and pleat work I did by hand. This is a very special collection with a very important message.

This was a project in which I had to make a garment from six different thrift items. the items were polyester curtains (the gold stripe fabric), lace from a dress (the cap sleeves), several sets of sheets (flower applique), and more.

this jacket is royal blue corduroy fabric, fully lined with a poly/cotton bottom weight fabric. with a blue cord covered button. This jacket is unique due to the many ways you can wear the collar.

This is a CAD project inspired by Banksy and other graffiti artists. What constitutes an art crime? if art is a crime doesn't it just make it more interesting? These are the questions that inspired me to do this project.**
**(disclaimer: the images used on the inspiration board are pictures of other peoples tags. these images inspired me and the clothing i generated from them. i am not trying to take credit for their work. i did however, graphically arrange these images to convey the message that i was put forth. that is my only intention.)

This is a project was a repeat pattern final that i did. The collection is about duality. The subject is a harsh subject but presented in a light hearted way. People seem to not pay attention to the things that do not attract them, even if the message is clearly important. I figure if i present subject in bright colors and a cartoon like quality people will look closer then realize the original message.
these are large files so in order to post them i had to reduce the quality.....in actuallity lines and colors are sharper
