For this patchy skirt set I first started off with a medium weight hemp muslin that I dyed a lovely shade of deep purple. I then paired her up with several purple cotton calicos featuring swirls, circles, flowers and butterflies. The apron, which can also be worn as a top, was constructed from diagonal patchwork and has a band of purple hemp along the top. The A-line underskirt features a strip of square patchwork along the bottom. She has a drawstring waist that can be tied in the front or back and will be hemmed to buyer's specifications free of charge. : )

I currently reside in Lancaster Pennsylvania, which has a long history in quilting and patchwork. I come from a family who's sewing history goes back for generations and generations! I started sewing when I was a little girl, but I really didn't have the patience needed and I was frustrated a lot, so I stopped. I started sewing again several years ago and have been going strong ever since! I really love to use sewing as my creative outlet and it fills me with joy! :)
