Anywhere but Our Earth

This is a project was a repeat pattern final that i did. The collection is about duality. The subject is a harsh subject but presented in a light hearted way. People seem to not pay attention to the things that do not attract them, even if the message is clearly important. I figure if i present subject in bright colors and a cartoon like quality people will look closer then realize the original message.

these are large files so in order to post them i had to reduce the quality.....in actuallity lines and colors are sharper

Mood Board This is the moodboard of the collection. These clippings inspired me. clippings of litter and trash everywhere. then there are the contrasting strips of 80's psychadelic colors which denotes the duality of the project. 1024 x 768 px (173 KB) 0 Comments		Anywhere Butt O This is the title peice of my collection. Generations Aft I found a photograph in National Geographic of these children missing their left forearms due to industrial pollution in Moscow. Pretty disturbing that this is happening.
